longs to ease the ache
and soothe the scars
of a forgotten time
no defence is there

and delicate,
something precious,
something beautiful,
something wild ,
something raw
your presence unequalled
your impact deep
touching me to the core
no defence
when you speak light into the shadows
lifting the veil our hearts hide behind
