feeling whole
never did I ask (you)
to take my pain away
us being present
and feeling each other
was all I wanted
your mere company
soothing
resting next to you
delightful
getting too close
my vulnerability seemed
to scare (you)
all you could do
was run
from my pain
avoiding yours also
with only the poetry of us
remaining
blaming
no one
and loving the moments
we shared
I am feeling whole again
